Position Description
ARServices is seeking an experienced Knowledge Management (KM) Analyst to provide Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) to the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) Research & Development (RD) Directorate, Nuclear Technologies Department (RD-NT). This role is ideal for a technically skilled KM and IT professional who can design, implement, and maintain knowledge management capabilities that support Financial Management, Human Resources Management, Acquisition Management, Task Management, and Technical Program Management.
The Knowledge Management Analyst will serve as a thought leader and architect for a multi-phased IT digital modernization strategic plan and lead development of Department IT/KM tools and dashboards.
A qualified candidate will perform the following duties and responsibilities, but are not limited to:
- Design and implement new dashboards, automated tools, and sites in support of Financial Management, Human Resources Management, Acquisition Management, Task Management, and Technical Program Management, as approved by Department leadership.
- Serve as thought leader and architect for the Department IT digital modernization initiative.
- Update and maintain Department and Division SharePoint sites and pages, including lists, libraries, media content, and other web parts.
- Manage access to sites, including assigning and removing permissions, creating and maintaining areas with restricted access for sensitive material, and enforcing SharePoint and DTRA best practices and policies for site governance and security.
- Serve as a Web Content Manager for the RD-NT Department.
- Troubleshoot local SharePoint issues and coordinate with agency IT to resolve issues.
- Train the RD-NT A&AS team on SharePoint-related topics and functionality.
- All other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Knowledge Management, Data Management, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Current DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
- 5+ years of Knowledge Management or IT experience.
- 3+ years of experience in DoD organizations.
- High level of design expertise with Power Automate for task routing, notification, and approvals; Power BI for dashboards and reporting; Power Apps to support structured task intake and updates; and Office 365 and SharePoint Online.
- Foundational knowledge of HTML and CSS to troubleshoot or extend existing components.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Office suite applications.
- Strong written and oral communication skills and experience developing and presenting complex information to senior Government officials.
Security Clearance Requirements
Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
Location & Travel
This is a full-time position based at DTRA Headquarters in Fort Belvoir, VA, with no travel expected.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with GenAI use within government organizations.
- Familiarity with Large Language Models.
- Prior experience working at DTRA or within other DoD organizations.

Compensation at ARServices is determined based on a variety of job-related factors, including education, relevant experience, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, internal equity, external market considerations, geographic location, security clearance level, contract labor category and funding requirements, organizational needs, and applicable federal, state, and local laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full-time status. Actual starting compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate's qualifications and the factors identified above.
Posted Salary Range
USD $83,898 - $161,266 / Yr.
